A local construction company built to handle real-world projects.

Ashton Zeher

Construction has been part of Ashton’s life from an early age. He began working alongside his father at just nine years old, learning the trade hands-on and building the foundation for the work ethic, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that still guide Little Bear Construction today.

Ashton was born in Pittsburgh and moved to Florida with his mother when he was four years old, but Pittsburgh always remained home in a lot of ways. He grew up with a strong connection to the city and never lost his Pittsburgh pride — especially when it came to the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins.

After his father passed away, Ashton took over the family business and continued building on what they had started together. Over the years, he gained broad experience in residential construction and property development, including owning and operating 27 homes and building homes from the ground up in Florida.

In 2014, Ashton made the decision to return to the Pittsburgh area and bring the business with him. Coming back was about more than work. It was a return to the city he had always felt connected to and an opportunity to build a business and raise a family in a place that had always felt like home.

Today, Ashton operates Little Bear Construction throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. Outside of the business, he is a husband and father. He is married to his wife, a nurse, and they are raising two sons together.

Family, hard work, and pride in the community are at the center of how Ashton runs the company. Whether it is a kitchen, bathroom, deck, restoration project, or full renovation, the goal is the same: treat every project with care, stand behind the work, and build something the customer can be proud of.

Born in Pittsburgh. Built through experience. Proud to be back home.
